Why This Recognition Matters

The Best Places to Work in Texas program evaluates companies across the state on culture, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness. The results come directly from an anonymous employee engagement survey, and the feedback we received was both humbling and inspiring.

Here are a few highlights from our results:

• We earned a 100% positive score on the statement: “If I contribute to the organization’s success, I know I will be recognized.”
• We also earned 100% positive feedback on: “The senior leaders of the organization value people as their most important resource.”
• Of the 22 employees who completed the survey, 86.36% were identified as highly engaged, meaning they feel connected to the firm, motivated to do their best work, and committed to staying.
• Employees described our work environment in one word: “rewarding.”

The survey included open-ended comments, and reading them reminded us why our culture is so important. Some of the comments shared include:

• “This organization is filled with employees who are willing to help each other out… If one person doesn’t know an answer, we all put our great minds together to figure it out.”
• “Good work-life balance… I’ve really enjoyed the events and culture of the organization and how they prioritize work/life balance, which is hard to come by in the tax accounting industry.”
• “My senior leaders are kind and very understanding. I have the ability to adjust my schedule as needed to handle things in my personal life.”
• “Management and most staff are great people. Flex time, remote work, free snacks and drinks, business casual dress, lots of great perks here.”

Feedback like this confirms that the environment we’re building matters, not just for us as a team, but for the clients we serve.

Looking Ahead

We’ll be officially recognized during the virtual awards ceremony in February 2026, where the statewide rankings will be announced. We’re honored to be included and even more motivated to continue strengthening our culture.
